Halloween is a great occasion to learn about different seasonal vegetables and various creepy crawlies. At Fun Box as part of our Halloween activities the children were learning about different insects and how many legs they have:
They also used their fine motor skills to try and catch the little creepy crawlies using tweezers.
We also learned about vegetables and made pumpkin soup – we talked about healthy foods, how to make a soup and keeping safe whilst cooking. It was also a great occasion to explore shapes, sizes and measuring:
