The Wheels on the Bus… and a Week Full of Creativity

Last week, our focus was on 'People Who Help Us,' and one role that particularly resonated with the children was the bus driver. So off we went on The Wheels on the Bus...

Making our very own bus

We were fortunate to receive a donation of large cardboard boxes, which we transformed into our very own bus. The children took the lead in decorating it, carefully adding their own touch (literally… :) ).

Once complete, the bus became the starting point for all sorts of imaginative journeys. From city streets to faraway fantasy lands, the children took turns behind the wheel and ventured to places like the whimsical ‘Unicorn Land.’

Valentine's Day

We also marked Valentine’s Day with a range of thoughtful, creative activities. The children enjoyed making cheerful heart-shaped hats and exploring our Love-themed sensory tray, which provided plenty of opportunities for hands-on discovery.

A favourite task was crafting personalised Valentine’s Day cards. With glue, paper, and lots of careful cutting and sticking, each card was made with someone special in mind—a lovely way for the children to express their care and appreciation.

It’s been a week filled with creativity, teamwork, and a good dose of fun. We look forward to seeing where the children’s imaginations will take us next.
