The children are getting ready for Easter with some fun, mathematical activities – counting eggs and chickens as making Easter Baskets; measuring and comparing eggs and using positional language while searching for Easter Eggs in the garden. 🙂

Wet and dry corn flour can provide hours of fun and it’s a great soothing sensory experience. Combined with different food colourings it’s an excellent way to learn about colour-mixing and to talk about different textures. (Early Years Foundation Stage: Expressive Arts and Design)
