Did you know that the first three-four years of life is a period of incredible growth in all areas of a child’s development?
A newborn’s brain is about 25 percent of its approximate adult weight but by age 3, it has grown dramatically by producing billions of cells and hundreds of trillions of connections, or synapses, between these cells. Maybe this sounds a bit too scientific but at Fun Box Day Nursery we understand how stimulate those little cells and how to provide the best support for every child to get off to a good start and establish life-long learning in this crucial period of life.
We focus on providing rich experiences through our carefully planned, colourful and fun activities. These support the seven areas of Learning and Development: Social, Emotional Development; Communication; Physical Development; Literacy; Mathematics; Understanding of the World; Expressive Arts) in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
